The photo above was taken many years ago. This past October, Suzanne was contacted by someone who had the full print. She was surprised to learn that her mother didn't have a copy of the full print. Suzanne believes if her mother had had the full print, she wouldn't have made the same connection she made when solving this story. Helping to prove she truly solved it.
The part of the print her mother received, as you can see above, only has the man looking at the canvas. Suzanne solved the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum art heist after she connected to the five pen and pencil drawings, a Manet painting, and the Bird finial connections to her mother's artwork. It was then, when she connected the Vermeer painting to the Cassel print, that she knew she had truly solved her mother's story. A man seated looking at a painting, connected to the Vermeer painting of a man seated looking at a painting. She will never forget the moment she made the connection. It unraveled unexpectedly, and nothing she was looking for or would have expected.
You can see in the full print below that it is of a man painting a lady.
So while the number one question has always been, why did this billionaire do what Mary claims he did? But another question Suzanne has asked is why he selected the pieces he sold to her. Especially the Jim Cassel print, and now knowing the full print, you know the print this billionaire gave her mother was worthless. Plus, it is mentioned in the notes between Fred and Mary twice. Seeming to validate the print had an emotional purpose behind it. Because it definitely doesn't have a monetary value.
