Hi, my name is Suzanne Kenney. I don't give up, I don't go away, I won't be silenced, and I like to make a lot of noise. Squeak, squeak! You can hear me coming. On December 1st, I formally submitted documented evidence, including the explicit threat to the $1.3 billion endowment, to the Attorney General of Massachusetts, Harvard’s General Counsel, and the President of Harvard University. This evidence proves that: The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Board committed a Breach of Fiduciary Duty by covering up the 1990 Art Heist. The heist was a commissioned theft orchestrated by the late billionaire, Frederick R. Koch, whose motive was acquisition, which was prohibited by the Gardner Will. This Breach triggers the Forfeiture Clause of the Will, legally transferring the Museum’s entire $1.3 Billion endowment and assets to Harvard University.
The Institutional Defense Mechanism: A Failure of LeadershipIn the subsequent days, as I launched a public campaign to share the facts, I have received the same response from the highest levels of both powerful institutions: SILENCE.
I am not sure about your previous cases, but this one is different. Not only because of the level of value but it also has another factor that might be new to some of you named - Suzanne Kenney.
This silence is not due diligence; it is a calculated institutional defense mechanism and a failure of leadership: The Attorney General is risking her mandate to protect the state's largest charitable trust to avoid challenging the wealthy network that financed the cover-up. The President of Harvard University, who was personally informed on December 1st about the $1.3 Billion inheritance at risk, is likely choosing to protect a deceased alumnus (Frederick R. Koch) and the institution's reputation over a legal and financial duty to secure the university's future.
I have now escalated this evidence to the Harvard Crimson to ensure that this choice to protect corruption over truth is no longer made in secret.
I am sure the board at ISGM is happy to hear their corruption likely extends to the AG of Mass and Harvard Lawyers, the President, the list goes on to who I emailed that day :-).
The corruption of the ISGM board will be exposed if it is the last thing I do.
Let's remember - The retaliation against me for demanding transparency started with the "Heywood Jablomey" incident and escalated to being physically followed. This intimidation ends TODAY. Remember there was a murder too? The institutions chose silence. I have now taken my evidence of the Fiduciary Breach and the $1.3 Billion risk directly to the public. The clock is ticking on institutional inaction.
My mother's story and my relentless, 15+-year determination got us here. We forced the system to listen by finding a legal threat it cannot ignore. This moment, where one woman's determination can trigger a multi-billion dollar legal and institutional reckoning, is the final victory over the wall of silence.
