These pen & pencil drawings by Alexander Calder are part of an incredible story.

(5) 1930s Alexander Calder Circus Pen & Pencil Drawings. The drawing with the horse we lost and the image is a copy of a scan. Mr. Koch sold these drawings to my mother. According to their notes (from the transactions) they came from “Mrs Clifford, Alexanders housekeeper” and “Mrs. Hokin Gallery, Palm Beach” – Hokin Gallery in Palm Beach, Florida¬† was a gallery that handled Alexander Calder works, even produced reproductions at one point.
